Lal joined London Solicitors in September 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor mainly focusing on Dispute Resolution, Commercial Law, and Contested Probate.
Lal successfully completed her LLB Law (Hons) at the University of Sheffield in 2021 and shortly after her Legal Practice Course (LPC) along with an LLM Degree specializing on Intellectual Property at the University of Law in 2022. As part of her LLM Degree, Lal successfully obtained a first class honours on her in-depth research paper on the potential effects and consequences of Brexit on the UK and EU patent laws and registration systems.
Lal’s main areas of interest and strength include; Intellectual Property, Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution (including Property litigation), and Contested Probate. Lal has also developed a keen interest in undertaking her own advocacy and she will be pursuing her Higher Rights post-qualification. Lal has advocated and represented several Claimants and Defendants in Court.
Outside of work, Lal enjoys reading, travelling with friends and family, and skiing.
