Cemal TurkManaging Director/Senior Solicitor
Cemal co-founded the firm in 2009. He continues to be a partner and is also head of the Conveyancing department at London Solicitors. He previously worked for the United Nations Refugee Council, for the North Africa and Middle East team. Cemal is also a Trustee of a local charity.Cemal’s areas of expertise include Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, Immigration, Employment, Landlord and Tenant, Wills and Probate.He is an active swimmer and surfer. His other interests include early to mid-20th Century Russian History and Literature, Interior Design and travelling.
Iqbal is a Solicitor and Partner of the firm having worked his way up from a Paralegal. His main area of practice is Property and mainly deals with:• Residential Freehold and Leasehold purchase, sale and lease extension• Commercial Freehold and Leasehold purchase, sale, lease extension and Disputes• Rent Review and Landlord and Tenant matters• Planning and Licensing applicationsIqbal completed his law degree with University of Plymouth and the LPC with the University of Law and in between that time, he took a year out to Travel and experience.Iqbal is a huge football fan and he also plays himself when he is not working or out with friends.
Dona KarimovaTrainee Solicitor
Dona joined London Solicitors in 2015. She studied International Relations and Diplomacy at the Institute of Oriental Studies in Uzbekistan. Dona also read History and International Relations at Kingston University. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at Article 19, an International Human Rights Organisation, where she had the opportunity to work with and interview leading Russian human rights activists, journalists and Media Lawyers.Dona is fluent in Russian, Uzbek, Turkish and English and has worked as an Interpreter and Translator.She has interests in Opera, Russian and world literature, music and sports.
Fazle ElahiTrainee Solicitor
Fazle joined the practice in September 2016 as a senior caseworker and currently leads the Immigration Department. Prior to joining London Solicitors, Fazle worked for several firms of solicitors including a firm based in City of London specialising in Immigration Law.Fazle is an expert in point-based system, family-based immigration law, ECAA (Ankara) applications (both self-employed and worker categories), EU free movement rights, nationality and human rights law. Fazle has up-to-date knowledge in all areas of immigration law. He has substantial experience of dealing with complex judicial review matters. He also deals with revocation of sponsorship licence and civil penalty matters.Fazle holds double LL.B. (Hons)- one from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and another one from University of Wales, United Kingdom. He has also completed a course on International Human Rights Law from Florida State University, USA with a scholarship from the International Bar Association and the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) / Postgraduate Diploma in Bar Professional Studies from the University of Law, United Kingdom.Fazle is a member of the Bar Human Rights Committee and the Human Rights Lawyers Association. He also serves the Law Society's Junior Lawyer Division as an LPC Ambassador.
Gamze joined London Solicitors in 2018. Gamze is experienced within the department of residential conveyancing. Prior to joining, Gamze worked in several law firms in London. Gamze graduated with LLB (Hons) from Hertfordshire University and an LPC from University of Law.Gamze is an active member of the board of management of Goksunlu’ler Community Centre. Gamze enjoys travelling, dining out, attending theatre productions and photography events.
Zehra joined London Solicitors in 2017. Zehra is a paralegal in the conveyancing department and also assists with other departments within the firm. Prior to joining, Zehra worked as a Property Manager for nearly 5 years and prior to that worked at the Citizen Advice Bureau in Hendon. Zehra graduated with LLB (Hons) from Kingston University and an LPC from University of Law.Zehra enjoys attending music concerts, art museums, playing sports and travelling.
Helin joined the London Solicitors in 2017.She has previously studied Politics and Social Policy BSc (Hons) at The University of Brighton graduating in 2017 and has recently completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law and is currently studying for the LPC.Helin is experienced in Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, Licensing, Immigration, Wills, and Probate. Outside of work she enjoys reading, traveling, learning about different cultures and participating in various charity work.Helin is fluent in Turkish, Kurdish and English.
Stena joined London Solicitors in 2017. She currently focuses on the specific fields of Conveyancing, Immigration, Landlord and Tenant and Civil Litigation. Prior to joining the firm Stena studied the Bachelors of Law LLB (Hons) at the Hertfordshire Law School.In Stena’s spare time she enjoys exploring her creativity through dance and art.
Gokce joined the firm in 2013 as head of the Personal Injury Department. She is experienced in most areas of Personal Injury Law and during her career she has pursued cases concerning road traffic accidents, employers’ liability, public liability and occupiers’ liability.In addition to her Personal Injury practice, she has a broad range of experience in Conveyancing, Immigration Law, Family Law and Civil Litigation.In her spare time, Gokce volunteers in the Turkish and Kurdish communities, providing free legal advice and translation services.Besides her legal career she has a passion for reading and travelling.Gokce is currently on maternity leave.
Dilem joined London Solicitors in 2018.She studied Tourism and Hospitality Management at Eastern Mediterranean University in North Cyprus. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at Cyprus XP Travel, a travel agency, as a ticketing sales agent.Dilem is fluent in both English and Turkish.She has a passion for jigsaw puzzles and crochet.
